Evening Star: Beauty Bringer
Summer Music Series at The Rothko Chapel
A pairing of professional opera and classical musicians who bend the boundaries of music genres and artistic genres, Divergence Vocal Theater's Artistic Director and soprano Misha Penton, baritone Michael Walsh, sopranos Alison Greene, Natasha Manley, and pianist Kyle Evans bring songs of summer to The Rothko Chapel. The program includes the world premiere of a musical settings of the poetry of Amy Lowell by Dominick DiOrio, as well as the music of Elliot Cole, Dominick Argento, Aaron Copland, and Alva Henderson.
